At ABIOtech we are dedicated to supporting our clients in formulating and executing their R&D projects from the idea (TRL1) to a pilot solution (TRL7), including support in raising financing from public funds and the technical-economic evaluation of the process.

Our experience allows us to support extraction, separation and fractionation processes in different industries, from mineral purification to biomolecule recovery.

Our main areas of work focus on the development of products from natural raw materials, with a special focus on agro-industrial residues:

• Recovery and purification of polyphenols from fruits, vegetables, and agro-industrial residues

• Purification of biomolecules from oily byproducts: tocopherols, tocotrienols, carotenes and sterols

• Recovery of proteins from plant raw materials (e.g. lupine, raps) and animal sources (e.g. fishing and salmon farming residues)

• Recovery and purification of saponins from plant raw materials
